White Rose dumplings – The white rose dumpling is a long-standing specialty of Hoi An. It was from a family of Chinese origin that settled in Hoi An 130 years ago, and their descendants have carried on the tradition of making Banh Bao, and Banh Vac white rose until now.

Cao Lau – The meticulous preparation of the noodles, the use of a special water, and the combination of flavors make cao lau not just a meal, but an experience. It embodies the culinary heritage of Hoi An, with the Huffington Post naming it “Vietnam’s greatest culinary treasure.” It was also recognized by the Asian Records Organization as a dish of significant culinary value in Asia.

Cao lầu Hội An

Pork rice paper roll – The vibrant, colorful plate of vegetables perfectly complements the succulent pork, creating an irresistible dish that is a feast for the senses. As the “mắm nêm” aroma wafts through the air, anticipation builds for the culinary delight about to be enjoyed. Delicate rice paper and hot rice noodle sheets add to the excitement, promising a unique and unforgettable dining experience.

Mi Quang –  is another popular noodle dish native of the same province where Hoi An is located. This dish is typically eaten in the summer, since it has little broth and is full of fresh greens. The toppings for Mi Quan vary from place to place, but common toppings include shrimps, pork and eggs. The broth is flavourful and turmeric-infused and it is often garnished with peanuts and roasted sesame rice crackers, giving it some extra textures.
